1:1 High-end Coaching

Anyone who wants to make a difference deserves a braintrust

Because good decisions rarely come from one answer, or one perspective.

The best decisions rarely happen alone.

Not because you lack the knowledge. Quite the opposite. The more experience you build, the smaller the group of people who can genuinely think alongside you becomes. Colleagues have interests. Clients have expectations. Friends know you too well. Your team often looks from the same assumptions you do.

That's why Pixar introduced the Braintrust years ago: a small group of people who gave each other honest feedback, with no decision-making power. Everyone was free to say what they saw. No one dictated what had to happen. The maker stayed the owner of the work.

That principle is the foundation of this one-on-one collaboration.

I think alongside you. I ask the questions the people around you no longer ask. I name the patterns that are hard to see from the inside. I share my knowledge and experience.

The decision always stays yours.

There are five spots.

Who it's for

For founders, senior experts, executives, authors and speakers who regularly make decisions about their positioning, their work or their public presence.

Not because they're short of ideas. But because important decisions rarely get better when they keep circling in your head for weeks.

Maybe you recognise one of these thoughts.

  • “I want to be asked to speak more often.”
  • “Everyone calls me an expert, but nobody knows my ideas.”
  • “AI is making knowledge cheaper. Where's my lasting value?”
  • “I feel my positioning no longer fits, but I can't yet say why.”

You get an independent perspective from someone who isn't part of your organisation, your industry or your internal logic.

Sometimes the greatest value isn't a new idea. It's someone willing to name the assumption you haven't questioned in months.

What can it be about?

The trigger changes every month.

Sometimes it's about authority building, personal branding, thought leadership or your positioning.

Sometimes about something far more concrete.

  • An offer you're unsure about.
  • A keynote, op-ed or interview.
  • A strategic decision.
  • A hard choice.
  • A message that isn't quite right yet.
  • Or a technology choice that turns out to be far less about software than about how you position yourself in the market.

You don't bring a theoretical question. You bring something that's live this week.

Because the topic you walk in with is rarely the real one. And that's exactly why thinking together helps.

How Braintrust works

Braintrust

Once a month we talk for an hour. Online. One on one. You get a fixed, recurring slot in your calendar — no shifting schedule. That hour is reserved for whatever question carries the most weight at that moment.

Braintrust Check-ins

Good questions rarely wait until the next session. That's why Braintrust also includes a weekly check-in. You send one voice note. I reply on Fridays, also by voice note. No lengthy analysis. Just enough to keep direction until our next session. Send nothing? Then I send you a short thought-prompt back. Not because you're obliged to stay busy. But because thinking has a rhythm.

How to start

  1. 01

First, fill in the free audit as a warm-up.

  2. 02

Then we schedule a thirty-minute introduction — not to sell you anything, but to look together at whether this way of working fits the questions you want to explore.

  3. 03

Then choose the plan that fits you: monthly, quarterly or yearly.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to prepare?

One day before your session you'll automatically get three short questions: what you want to walk away with today (required, one sentence), what you've already tried or considered (optional), and whether there's anything I should see beforehand (optional, max. one document). If you fill in nothing, the conversation simply opens with that first question, live. In Braintrust, you set what it's about.

What if I have nothing to bring?

Then that's where we start. Not every valuable session begins with a clear question. Sometimes there's just a feeling that something needs attention. Sometimes we use the hour to look ahead, explore ideas or prepare choices that don't seem urgent yet but will matter later. Braintrust follows no agenda. It follows whatever deserves the most attention at that moment.

Is this coaching?

Not the way the word is usually used. I don't work with lessons, exercises or assignments here. You bring a situation. We examine it. I respond with the same independence Pixar built its Braintrust on. Open. Honest. With no stake in the outcome.

What if one hour isn't enough?

Then I'll say so. Some questions deserve more time. Others are resolved surprisingly fast once someone asks the right question. A Braintrust isn't a way to solve every problem within an hour. It's a way to carry important decisions alone for less long. If it seems needed, I can refer you to my other programs, the Authority Blueprint or Signature Story.

What if I need to move my fixed slot?

More than seven days ahead, we'll find another open moment together. Cancelling later, or not showing up, means that month's session is forfeited. If I have to move it myself, your session carries over or you get it back.

Do I need to complete another program first?

No. Braintrust stands entirely on its own. You don't need to have followed any other track. But it may become clear during the sessions that one of the other programs would help.
