What we work on

Your message

What should your audience understand or remember? What do you want to achieve? We choose the core point and look at which content supports it.

Your structure

We work on an opening that makes clear why the subject matters, a logical development and a fitting ending. Examples and stories get a function in your message.

Your text

You write it yourself. ianka gives feedback on clarity, coherence and how well it speaks. You discover which sentences work out loud and which passages need changing.

Your delivery

You practise breathing, voice, pace, pauses and eye contact. We look for a way of speaking that suits you, your audience and the occasion.

Your preparation for questions

If questions are part of the moment, we prepare for them too. We look at which answers are needed and what you still need to find out.

How the coaching works

1. Message and structure

We discuss the occasion, your audience and the goal. We set the core message and structure, or sharpen the version you already have.

2. Text and practice

You write out your text yourself. We go through the content and practise excerpts. You get pointers for reworking and further practice.

3. Rehearsal

You deliver the speech the way you want to give it on the day. We work on timing and delivery and go back over passages that need extra attention.

The number of sessions and the schedule are agreed based on the assignment and what you have already prepared.

What you take away

A sharpened and rehearsed speech or presentation, speaking notes and focused pointers for your final preparation. You have tested your message out loud and know which points of attention to take with you to the moment itself.
