The session

What do we do in the session?

Beforehand, you briefly say which question you want to discuss. For a One Question, ianka does no analysis of documents or material in advance.

In the online video call we go straight to the heart of it.

We look at what is really going on, separate the essential from the incidental, and expose assumptions. ianka asks questions that test your reasoning, names what she sees, and brings in a different perspective where needed.

That can mean a choice suddenly becomes obvious. But it can also turn out that you were solving the wrong question, mixing up two decisions, or making something more complicated than it needed to be.

The goal is not to cram as much advice as possible into one conversation. The goal is that after the session you see more sharply what really needs deciding, which choice makes sense for you, and what your next step is.

What you leave with

You don’t come for a report or a pile of new ideas.

You leave with a sharper view of your issue: what is really going on, which choice is on the table, and what a logical next step is for you.
